The astronomy community needs to have a strong relationship with the media. It must be recognised though that we all are ambassadors for astronomy. The following areas need to be addressed:

• Database of people willing to give interviews (can range from professional to enthusiasts to school learners/educators)
• Material for regular TV/Radio/Print pieces
• you tube videos
• podcasts in various languages
