Star-gazing at Nelson Wine Estate

The Orion Observasie Groep (OOG) held a Galilean Night event at Nelson Wine Estate Show & Share on Friday night. This was held simultaneously with the launch Kingsley Holgate’s new book on the Ghoema Route, at Nelson Wine Estate near Wellington. The viewing started at +/-20:00 and finished at 23:30 with some 30-50 Guests sharing views of Jupiter and the moon through two 10" scopes.
